What a Wonderful Hobby – Red Scorpions sighted

Image

Over the weekend most of the Cold Steel Mercs got together to grind each other’s army into the dust (more of that in another post).

Through the thick black smoke that obscured most of the battlefield, Pict-servitors caught a few glimpses of the Red Scorpions…….

……..In an effort to remind Michael to give Iain and Paul posting rights, here’s a couple of photos of Iain’s latest reinforcements for his Red Scorpions. I’m sure you’ll agree the paint job is outstanding. His Hunter apparently has a seeking missile that chases fliers around the table if it should ever initially miss its target ….

Also reinforcing his army was his latest masterpiece (which he said was a rush to get finished in time for the weekend), the Sicaran Battle Tank……

Until next time……Stay frosty!

  1. OOh ooh, me me me.

    Thanks Gary.

Jason (no. 1 son) and I have been discussing gaming at home with limited room. He said he would dig out his old 4th ed. rulebook so that we could try some “proper” old school kill team games. Perhaps a campaign might be showcased…

    • Excellent, it’ll be good to see battle reports from someone else.
As for a campaign just jump right into the Storms of Judgement campaign and fight over any planet that takes your fancy. The whole idea of the Storms of Judgement campaign was to have a game world where we could connect our hobby time with other like minded people to, as GW put it, Forge a Narrative 😉

  2. Doesn’t the Sicaran need a new paint job now though as I believe my sonic weapons might have meant it needed a rebuild? Great models though mate and as ever a pleasure to play against you

  3. Red Scorpion tech marines are more than able to restore an honoured relic such as this. I’ve yet to decide (fluff wise) where they. ..ahem…acquired it from. At least we know the rules regarding ICs and helbrute units now Steve.

  4. Over the weekend most of the Cold Steel Mercs got together to grind each other’s army into the dust (more of that in another post). So what happened to this bit then?

  5. Work happened 😦
Hopefully I’ll get some time early next week, but I have to paint up the campaign map before I report on the carnage.
